Dr. Ashley Diamond

Board Certified Clinical Health Psychologist

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2016 and became Board Certified in Clinical Health Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in 2023. According to Mapping the ABPP Specialist Workforce (2024), only about 4% of licensed psychologists are board certified by ABPP, placing me among a small and highly specialized group dedicated to excellence in clinical practice and health psychology.

In 2025, I completed a postgraduate master’s degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology through Idaho State University, where I expanded my understanding of the neurobiological foundations of mental health and the clinical use of psychotropic medications. This training enhanced my ability to integrate psychological treatment with a deep appreciation for the physiological and pharmacological factors that influence mood, cognition, and behavior.

My passion for integrative and systems-based approaches to healing led me to complete extensive training through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), including the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) core training and all six Advanced Practice Modules (APMs)—Gastrointestinal, Environmental Health, Immune, Hormone, Cardiometabolic, and Bioenergetics. This advanced training has allowed me to integrate psychological, biological, and lifestyle factors in a truly holistic way.

I am also a Certified Nutrition Counselor through the Functional Nutrition Alliance (2024) and hold a Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutritional Studies (2018).

My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I strive to help individuals understand the deeper roots of their symptoms and restore balance—mentally, physically, and emotionally—through an integrative, evidence-based, and personalized path toward healing.
